Energy Policy Fellowship Program
The PowerHouse Texas Energy Policy Fellowship Program is a paid fellowship program that enables graduate and undergraduate students with Science, Technology, Engineering or Environmental Sciences backgrounds to work at the Texas Capitol as a staffer for the duration of a full Legislative Session.
The goal is for the fellows to gain hands-on experience in policymaking and the entire legislative process.
The program pairs fellows with bipartisan members of the Texas House of Representatives and Senate based on their aligned policy interest and areas of expertise. Fellows also meet regularly with energy technology experts, legislative staff, researchers, academics and stakeholder groups during their tenure.
This program is the only undergraduate and graduate-level fellowship program in the Texas State Capitol focused on energy policy. Learn more about our cohorts of fellows below.
